12th Annual Fish and Feast, 2021

A note about COVID-19: We are anticipating a removal or relaxing of social distancing requirements by August that will allow us to hold our event in a normal fashion. However, every effort will be made to ensure that the event will be held according to state and local regulations regarding COVID-19 restrictions. But, as always, a day of fishing and great food will still be had!

You have to see it to believe it. A full day of fishing on first class private trout waters and 5-star quality meals right on the banks of the river. It’s a day of guiltless pleasures, because it’s all for the benefit of Canon City’s local Young Life area, an outstanding outreach organization that is impacting the lives of youth all over the world.

The River

You will be fishing an approx. 3 mile long section of the South Platte River in Lake George, one hour west of Colorado Springs.  It is one of the longest stretches of closely held private water remaining on the South Platte, stretching from Hwy. 24 to Happy Meadows Campground.  It is a beautiful stretch of river teeming with rainbow and brown trout. A true angler’s paradise!
