COVID-19 status
Our expectation is that most restrictions will be lifted by the event, allowing for it to be conducted as usual. However, we will make every effort to follow any state and local restrictions to ensure a safe event.
Daily Schedule
Here is the schedule for each day. We would encourage you to arrive by 7:15 a.m., but that is not required (however, if you don’t arrive before lunch, you will regret missing it!).

7:30 1st session fish begins
9:30 2nd session fish
12:30 Lunch
1:00 p.m. Rest the river- limited fishing areas and other activities available
3:00 3rd session fish

Important Details
- Barbless hooks, or the barbs smashed down using pliers or hemostats, are required for this event
- You may choose to camp in a tent or RV the night before or the night after at the event location. Please set up your camp 50 yards or more away from the event tent. There are no hook-ups for water, electricity, or dumping. If you would like to camp the night before, please arrive after 6:00 p.m. Here are links to other lodging options in Lake George: Mountain River Lodge and Lake George Cabins and RV Park. Lodging is available in Woodland Park as well.
- There will be extra equipment for fly fishing if you do not have your own or forget something.
- A state fishing license will be required for all participants.

The bugs I observed were Midges obviously in the morning early. The Trico’s come off about 7:30 AM to 12 o’clock. Just a few Blue wing olives . Sporadic PMD/Yellow Sally’s throughout the morning . Caddis-are on the water early and late. About 7:30 AM to 10 AM and then again late in the afternoon. We always have lots of hoppers, beatles and aunts throughout the day
